The Center for Transforming Lives breaks the cycle of poverty for families in our community by providing affordable, high-quality child care. Families, especially those led by a single mother, face a horrible catch-22. Moms can’t work if they don’t have child care, but they can’t afford child care if they’re not working. The Center for Transforming Lives is the only childcare center in Tarrant County that provides FREE child care for homeless children with transportation and subsidized care for working poor families. In addition to child care, the staff ensures that these families have a safe place to live, food on the table, and access to jobs and other resources to improve the family’s financial self-sufficiency. This organization’s two-generation approach to ending poverty makes all the difference in the lives of the 7,000 children that will experience homelessness in Tarrant County this year, their families and our community.

Let's give back!!
